"Tokyo Ghoul:re is the third and final season of the Tokyo Ghoul anime television series which is based on Sui Ishida's sequel manga series of the same name. The anime is produced by Pierrot and directed by Toshinori Watanabe. The story is set in an alternate version of Tokyo where humans coexist with ghouls, beings who look like humans but can only survive by eating human flesh. Ken Kaneki is a college student who is transformed into a half-ghoul after an encounter with one of them."
